2.4 Durable materials
The overall product is quite durable because the main body of this product consists of two plastic boxes, which are made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene). It is a durable thermoplastic that has strong impact resistance, high tensile strength, and high scratch resistance. Although in the working environment this delivery box might be subject to damage like dropping to the ground, the durable ABS material can maintain its shape very well.

The screws are made of Black-Oxide Alloy Steel, which is also very durable because it’s a type of strong metal.

2.5 Immediate functionality

2.6 Inviting, easy and obvious
This repurposed design will invite the repurposers like a delivery driver or a medical doctor.

Delivery driver: Since this product is primarily designed for delivery drivers, their suggestions or comments are very useful to the product development. If a middle-fidelity prototype can be made, I will give it to them and invite them to experience it by picking up or dropping off actual food containers. They may comment on whether the food can be easily picked up or how comfortable they feel when using this box. Based on their feedback, it’s very likely that the product can enter the next level where the user experience becomes much better.

Medical doctor: Although this product might not be used by medical doctors, they can provide valuable insights about how to keep this box hygienic. Their suggestions may improve this box’s structure so that the possibility of getting infected from cross-contamination can be even lower.
